To increase diversity and please members, Nhat Minh said he had to change himself, carry out ideas and content that were not his forte.

“For a long time, I didn’t have any definite ideas. Luckily, I finally finished this idea about 2-3 weeks before the show took place,” the general director shared.

Nhat Minh and his colleagues want to take the club beyond the framework of a high school student club and towards professional fashion. The male student hopes that future generations can continue this message.

To Trang Anh – a 12th grade Geography student, the show’s art director – said that even though the show had ended, Trang Anh still felt nostalgic and remembered the hardships the team had gone through. At the time of the photo shoot, the weather was hot and there was no air conditioning, but the models and the team worked hard.

Not only attracting the attention of fashion lovers, the program also had the participation of parents. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy – mother of model Pham Thao Nguyen, a 12th grade student at the High School for the Gifted Ha Noi – Amsterdam – shows pride in daughter after show ends.

She said this was the second year her daughter had participated in the program. Through the events, she saw the capacity, dynamism and maturity of the students in the school. Preparations from planning, design, model training to backstage photography were all carried out early.

More than 60 designs were brought to the stage

“Resonace” features more than 60 costumes, presented in four parts, reflecting different perspectives.

In the first part, the series of designs was inspired by modern villas and the luxurious life of the upper class. From there, it depicted a contrasting picture of a poor spiritual life on the background of material and massive assets.

The outfits come in white, grey and black, with materials including organza, cotton, taffeta and cool elastic.

In the second part, the audience can see costumes made of linen, felt, and parachute fabrics, with the main colors being brown and beige.

The design team continues to bring unique creations with costumes using taffeta, suede, khaki, chiffon and felt. In this collection, young people use black, dark red and brown as the main colors.

In the end, the team aims for connections between individuals, strong mutual support like cooperative relationships between people in a dream social vision.

The collection is a blend of grey, white and blue. Organza, cotton, chiffon, taffeta… are used as the main materials.

Model Nguyen Huu Thuc Anh (20 years old, student at the University of Foreign Languages ​​- Vietnam National University, Hanoi) learned about the club through social networks and friends. Joining the club since 2022, Thuc Anh found that this year’s program is more organized and has more innovative ideas. However, she affirmed that each season has its own uniqueness.

LaMode Fashion Club was founded and run by students of Hanoi – Amsterdam High School for the Gifted with the desire to inspire passion for fashion, while fully exploiting the creative limits of talented young people through the club’s events and collections.
